Job summary

Zone IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our enterprise-scale projects across large retail or ERP migrations. You will translate high-level designs into detailed designs, perform tenant-to-tenant migrations, and contribute to post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer, ideally within large-scale retail enterprise programs or ERP migrations.
• Proven experience translating High-Level Designs into comprehensive Detailed Level Designs (DLD) and navigating them through an Architecture Review Board (ARB) or similar governance body.
• Demonstrated experience executing tenant-to-tenant Azure migrations, including the moving of workloads, resources, and identities between disparate Azure tenancies.
• Proven track record of delivering technical infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and stabilisation during post go-live Hypercare windows.
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) principles.
• Deep proficiency with Terraform and Azure DevOps for automated, pipeline-driven infrastructure deployment.
• Strong hybrid and multi-cloud networking experience, including Azure Hub-and-Spoke, Azure Firewall policy management, ExpressRoute, and native routing protocols (BGP).
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking concepts required to support multi-cloud connectivity, specifically VPCs, Cloud Routers, Network Connectivity Center (NCC) topologies, and BGP route propagation over interconnects/VPNs.
• Experience managing data transport, transit routing, and DNS resolution between Azure, GCP, and on-premise data centres.
• Proven expertise in provisioning and tuning core Azure components (but not limited to) like Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server on IaaS, Azure Virtual Machines etc
• Strong systems administration experience in both Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Proficiency using tools like Jira, Confluence and Service Now for agile task tracking, delivery and documentation
