Virtue Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Sydney service team. The role involves servicing, maintaining and installing clinical diagnostic instruments across metropolitan Sydney, with a focus on rapid response to critical equipment downtime.

You will work in high-volume clinical environments, supported by an established engineering team, spare parts and facilities. Occasional regional travel and on-call rosters are required.

Qualifications

• Field service experience with IVD, clinical diagnostics or pathology laboratory equipment.
• Exposure to haematology, chemistry, immunology or related clinical laboratory systems.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair capability.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and resolve faults on clinical laboratory and diagnostic instrumentation.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing and equipment repairs.
• Support installation and commissioning of diagnostic equipment.
• Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns in hospitals and laboratories.
• Provide telephone and on-site technical troubleshooting.
• Coordinate spare parts and technical requirements.
• Build relationships with hospital and laboratory customers.
