Job summary

Roche NSW seeks a Field Services Engineer to install, service and maintain analytical instruments across Core Lab, Molecular Diagnostics, Tissue Diagnostics and Sequencing systems. You will coordinate pre-install, maintenance and hardware/software modifications, with travel within NSW and occasional interstate work.

Applicants should have a tertiary degree in Electrical/Electronics, field engineering or related, plus experience in medical devices, IT/middleware, and a valid driver's license;

Qualifications

• Experience in field engineering / customer service related to Medical Devices is preferred.
• Exposure to Hematology is a plus.
• Experience with IT and Middleware systems is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Timely pre-installation inspection and installation of Roche and other analytical systems in NSW.
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance per manufacturer guidelines and report overdue issues.
• Manage spare parts and stock accuracy; identify training needs and inform Regional Manager.
• Comply with safety, health, and environmental policies and Roche Code of Conduct.
• Travel within NSW and occasionally interstate as required; participate in rotating On-Call roster.
