Job summary

Wanniassa Dental is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support the smooth running of our clinical operations and help lead our dental team. The role will involve front desk duties, coordinating daily clinical activities and guiding Dental Assistants to maintain high standards of patient care.

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will ensure infection control, patient flow, and compliance while collaborating with the Practice Manager and clinicians to continuously improve practice operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk and reception support, greet patients, assist with bookings, and fill in as Dental Assistant when needed.
• Coordinate daily clinical operations and support the dental team.
• Provide guidance and support to Dental Assistants.
• Ensure clinical rooms are prepared, stocked and maintained to a high standard.
• Oversee infection control, sterilisation and clinical compliance procedures.
• Support clinician schedules and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical safety.
• Work closely with Practice Manager and clinicians to improve operations.

As Clinical Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the clinical team is supported, the practice runs efficiently and our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing front desk and reception support, including greeting patients and assisting with bookings, and stepping in to work as a Dental Assistant when required to support the team.
• Coordinating daily clinical operations and supporting the dental team.
• Providing guidance and support to Dental Assistants.
• Ensuring clinical rooms are prepared, stocked and maintained to a high standard.
• Overseeing infection control, sterilisation and clinical compliance procedures.
• Supporting clinician schedules and ensuring efficient patient flow.
• Assisting with the onboarding and training of new team members.
• Maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical safety.
• Working closely with the Practice Manager and clinicians to improve practice operations.

Qualifications
