Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a client success professional in Canberra to act as the main contact for an assigned portfolio, managing client media requirements end to end and alerting them to relevant items as they unfold.

You will collaborate with account management and sales teams, regularly contacting clients to provide solutions for their communications objectives, while monitoring breaking news and industry trends to deliver insights.

Qualifications

• Media savvy with a genuine interest in news and current affairs
• Ability to identify issues important to clients
• Ability to build and develop meaningful client relationships
• Ability to think on your feet, prioritise, and multitask in high-pressure situations
• Excellent team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving ability to identify potential client issues
• Previous experience in a client success or customer service environment is desirable
• Excellent command of English
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa holder not requiring sponsorship, with at least 1.5 to 2 years of visa validity remaining

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact for clients in the portfolio
• Service clients’ media requirements end to end across all formats
• Alert clients to relevant media items as they happen
• Collaborate with account management and sales teams to understand client needs
• Regularly contact clients and provide solutions for their communications requirements
• Monitor breaking news and alert clients to relevant media issues
• Retain and develop a portfolio of government, automotive, and higher education clients
• Deliver insights, advice, and industry intelligence supporting clients’ communications objectives
