Job summary

Waratah Group Services is seeking a reliable cleaner to support our landscape maintenance operations in Penrith and surrounding areas. The role involves cleaning common areas, performing light gardening tasks, and working closely with the team to ensure high-quality results on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in the cleaning industry, a valid unrestricted driver's licence, and strong time management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the cleaning industry.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s licence and ability to drive.
• Ability to produce high quality work.
• Ability to encourage team members to work effectively together.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Adherence to WHS policies for a safe workplace.
• Desire to provide a high quality commercial cleaning service.

Responsibilities

• Work within the team on various sites in Penrith and surrounding areas.
• Travel in work vehicle.
• Plan and organise on-site tasks.
• Produce high quality work.
• Regularly liaising with Supervisor and Manager.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and to standards.
• Complete WHS, quality and environmental paperwork diligently.
• Support the daily targets to deliver quality service on time.
• Clean common areas (vacuum, mop, dust, windows) and some light gardening.

• The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace
• A desire to provide a high quality commercial cleaning service

Tasks & responsibilities

• Work within the team on various sites in Penrith and surrounding areas
• Travel in work vehicle
• Organisation and programming of tasks completed on site
• Take pride in producing high quality work
• Regularly liaising with the Supervisor and Manager.
• Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.
• Diligent and consisent in completing all WHS, quality and environmental paperwork
• Role is job based, working with the team to ensure targets are met for each day to ensure a quality service is performed in the right timeframe.
• Involves working on cleaning common areas such as vacuuming staircases, mopping floors, dusting and cleaning windows as well as some minor gardening work.
