Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking cleaners to join our team at a Penrith, NSW site. You will perform general cleaning duties, deliver high-quality cleaning services, and support site operations in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires 2+ years’ experience, ability to supervise rosters, operate cleaning machinery, and maintain exceptional cleanliness standards. You must have valid work rights in Australia and be able to work weekends and public holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Experience supervising, rostering or leading a small cleaning team.
• Experience operating cleaning machinery (sweepers/scrubbers).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Physically fit and proactive with a strong work ethic.
• Must have valid work rights in Australia.

The Role:

Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at our Retail and Shopping Center site at Penrith, NSW!

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

We have multiple Full-time position available, with shifts across weekends and weekdays.

This position will be based on award wages. Award Level 2

ROSTER

Tuesday to Saturday: 06:30 am -14.36pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
• Deliver site cleaning services and maintain quality standards
• Manage rosters, team performance, and training
• Liaise with clients and support site operations
• Oversee cleaning equipment, stock control, and ordering
• Ensure compliance with safety, KPI, and incident requirements

About You:

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience supervising, rostering or leading a small cleaning team.
• Experience operating cleaning machinery (sweepers/scrubbers)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong ability to support, motivate, and manage staff to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Able to complete online induction upon commencement
• Physically fit, proactive, and quick to learn
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reside within 30 minutes of the site location
• Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• You must have valid work rights in Australia.
