Job summary

Waratah Group Services is seeking an experienced landscape supervisor for Western Sydney, Blacktown and Penrith. You will lead a crew, programme on-site tasks, and maintain high standards of quality and safety while coordinating with management.

The role requires 5+ years in horticulture, and a strong focus on WH&S, documentation, and client service. A company vehicle is provided and bonuses are negotiable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in horticulture landscape industry.
• Qualification in horticulture desirable, but not essential if you have the experience.
• Experience operating a large range of commercial landscape maintenance equipment.
• Ability to lead and motivate team members to work effectively together.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Current Chemcert is desirable, or willing to obtain.
• Ability to adhere to WH&S policies and complete related paperwork.
• Desire to provide a high quality commercial maintenance service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team on a full-time run in and around Western Sydney, Blacktown and Penrith.
• Organisation and programming of tasks completed on site.
• Manage the team to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Regularly liaise with Management to provide high-quality service for the client.
• Ensure all works are completed safely.
• Role run-based, working with the team to meet targets.
• Manage various landscapes onsite, particularly parks and gardens.
• Identify and treat plant deficiencies and/or pest/disease.
• Complete associated documentation regularly.
• Fully maintain company vehicle and fuel paid for.

Qualifications & experience

5 + years’ experience in the Horticulture industry

Qualification in Horticulture or equivalent desirable, but not essential if you have the experience.

Experience operating and maintaining large range of commercial landscape maintenance equipment.

The ability to lead and encourage team members to work effectively together.

Good time management and communication skills

Current Chemcert is desirable, or willing to obtain.

The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace

Diligent and consisent in completing all WHS, quality and environmental paperwork

Tasks & responsibilities
