Job summary

Waratah Group Services in Sydney, NSW, seeks an experienced Greenkeeper to manage a full-time site and lead a team responsible for premium turf presentation. The role requires 10+ years in greenkeeping, a Cert III in Greenkeeping, and Chemcert, plus a current C-class licence and strong WHS compliance.

You will oversee task programming, fertiliser and chemical applications, and liaise with the management team to deliver high-quality service for clients. Competitive wage package negotiable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in the Greenkeeping industry.
• Current unrestricted drivers’ licence (class C or better).
• Cert III Qualification in Greenkeeping or equivalent.
• Experience operating and maintaining large range of commercial greenkeeping equipment.
• The ability to lead and encourage team members to work effectively together.
• Good time management and communication skills
• Current Chemcert essential or equivalent.
• The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace
• Diligent and consinent in completing all WHS, quality and environmental paperwork
• A desire to provide a high quality greenkeeping service

Responsibilities

• Manage a full-time site.
• Organisation and programming of tasks completed on site.
• Responsible for the overall presentation of all turf areas.
• Completion of mowing and associated works throughout site.
• Management of general presentation of turf areas.
• Application of associated fertiliser and chemical applications
• Management of site to ensure efficiency and quality is maintained.
• Regularly liaising with our Management Team and work with them to provide a high quality service for the client.
• Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.
• Completion of associated documentation on regular basis.
• Fully maintained company vehicle + FUEL paid for
