Qualifications

• General Liability background with extensive insurance experience.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience.
• Ability to build and develop business relationships with clients and service providers.
• Policy interpretation skills.
• ANZIIF Executive Certificate in General Insurance Claims or AQF Diploma or equivalent (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the claims team to deliver cost-effective, customer-focused service.
• Drive continuous improvement and QA, including audits and data integrity.
• Manage Tier 1 activities and staff performance against SLAs.
• Oversee recruitment and staff development planning.
• Approve payments and related letters outside team delegations.
