Job summary

StateCover Mutual is seeking a Claims Officer in Sydney to deliver timely, compliant claims outcomes for Members. You’ll manage medical only claims, including hearing aids, liaise with injured workers, councils and providers, and support resolution and documentation.

You’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries, helping to reduce claim lifecycle times while maintaining quality and compliance. A collaborative, accountable approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a claims, contact centre or similar customer service environment.
• Organised, detail-oriented, able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical only claims, including hearing aid claims, for Members.
• Liaise with injured workers, local councils and service providers to process entitlements and invoices.
• Act as first point of contact for general enquiries and reduce claim lifecycle times.
• Collaborate with Case Managers to ensure accurate documentation and timely claim closure.
