Job summary

StateCover Mutual is seeking an orderly and customer‑focused administrator to support our case managers in NSW. You will handle administrative tasks, coordinate medical examinations, and manage payments and reimbursements for workers compensation claims in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Ideal candidates will be highly organised, deadline‑driven, and comfortable with Word and Excel. Insurance experience is desirable but not essential, with hybrid working arrangements offered to support

StateCover's purpose is to keep people safe, well and working. A SIRA licensed specialised insurer, we deliver workers compensation insurance solutions exclusively for local Government in NSW.

As a Mutual, we work differently. We're trusted partners to our Members (insured local councils), collaborating closely to protect their workforce and minimise the impact of workplace injuries.

The Opportunity

This role will see you responsible for supporting our Case Managers, by providing general administration and customer service support across the claims we receive. This involves arranging medical examinations, reconciling Member payments and wage reimbursements, following up outstanding reports and accounts, and assisting in the preparation of claim reviews and case conferences.

At times you may also be required to provide direct assistance to our Members and other stakeholders, presenting yourself in a personal, empathetic, and efficient manner.

Your Story

You value providing first class customer service to all stakeholders you engage with and know the importance of timely and professional delivery of service. You're highly organised and can effectively prioritise your time and work to meet deadlines.

You'll have had previous experience working with Microsoft applications, notably Word and Excel. You also enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Previous experience in insurance is desirable but not essential.
