Job summary

Cater Care Group is seeking a Chef Manager for Anglican Care - Bishop Tyrrell in Cundletown, NSW. You will own the kitchen, lead a team, and oversee bulk cooking to serve residents with texture-modified meals on a Monday–Friday roster.

The role requires trade certification in commercial cookery and a Food Safety Supervisor qualification, with hands-on cooking in a high-volume environment. Salary is $85,000 plus super, with weekends off.

Qualifications

• Trade certification in commercial cookery is required.
• Food Safety Supervisor qualification is required.
• Experience with texture-modified meals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the kitchen and ensure every service is delivered smoothly.
• Cook and prepare nutritious meals that meet menu requirements and resident needs.
• Deliver high-volume bulk cooking while maintaining quality, consistency and presentation.
• Prepare texture modified foods with accuracy and dietary considerations.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Plan, prioritise and manage kitchen operations independently to meet deadlines.
