Job summary

Catholic Healthcare’s Bodington Wentworth Falls is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Leader to run the home’s commercial kitchen and dining service, delivering fresh, nutritious meals daily while meeting dietary needs.

You will manage 14-strong kitchen team, control budget and resources, ensure hygiene and compliance with aged care standards, and inspire culinary excellence across residents.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
• Leadership experience in a commercial kitchen
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and workplace health & safety
• Experience with modified diets and aged care dining requirements
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• NDIS Worker Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh and nutritious meals for residents in line with dietary needs
• Manage all resources within the kitchen including equipment and food supplies within budget
• Maintain a hygienically clean kitchen fully compliant with Aged Care quality standards
• Lead and mentor a kitchen team of 14
