Job summary

Shelly Beach Golf Club on the NSW Central Coast invites an enthusiastic Chef/Cook to join our busy kitchen. Enjoy a 38-hour week across four days, with a great work/life balance and staff discounts across food, beverage and golf.

You will be part of a team delivering quality food, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and supporting stock control and customer service. Training and career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Demonstrate strong work ethic and team collaboration.
Ensure quality and presentation of food.
Attention to detail and problem-solving.
Prepare adequate quantities per menu.
Assist in ordering and stock control.
Maintain accurate stock records.
Rotate stock to minimize waste.
Work across a weekly roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Commitment to hygiene, quality and safety.
Provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day food production ensuring quality and presentation.
Ensure menu items prepared per menu specifications.
Assist in ordering and organisation of food preparation and stock control.
Maintain stock control records and stock on hand.
Facilitate accurate stock rotation to minimize waste.
Be available to work across a weekly roster, including days, Nights, weekends and public holidays.
Be passionate about food and customer service.
Maintain hygiene, quality and safety, and comply with all company policies and procedures at all times.
