Leonay Golf Club in Leonay, NSW, is seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our busy kitchen.

In this full-time role, you will assist the catering team in preparing meals for members and guests, maintain high standards of food safety, and work with a supportive team to deliver consistent quality. Weekend shifts are required.

You will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a friendly club environment with access to the golf course and discounted meals.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or a related field.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality and willingness to grow culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Chef team in all food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Following recipes and cooking methods precisely to ensure consistency in food quality
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to efficiently execute menu items
• Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday
