Job summary

Coal Services Pty Limited is seeking a Change Manager, Business Services, to lead end-to-end change across a portfolio of transformation initiatives. You will partner with leaders and project teams to drive adoption, build capability and deliver lasting business outcomes across Coal Services health, Mines Rescue, Regulation & Compliance and corporate services.

Based in Newcastle or Sydney, this hands-on role sits in a newly established PMO and requires strong stakeholder management, change

Qualifications

• Experience with recognised change methodologies (e.g. Prosci, APMG or equivalent).
• Ability to develop and implement stakeholder engagement, communication, learning and adoption strategies.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities across strategic and operational change.

Change Manager, Business Services

• Fixed-Term Full-Time Opportunity | 12 months

• Lead enterprise-wide change across a diverse portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with leaders and project teams to support adoption, build capability and deliver lasting business outcomes across Coal Services.

About the role:

Join a key transformation function supporting major business improvement initiatives across Coal Services Health, Mines Rescue, Regulation & Compliance, and Corporate Support Services. As Change Manager, reporting to the Enterprise Change Manager, you will partner with leaders, project teams and stakeholders to drive the successful adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working.

Working within a newly established PMO, you'll lead change activities across a diverse portfolio of projects, helping teams navigate change, build capability and achieve lasting business outcomes. This is a hands-on role where you'll influence across a broad range of stakeholders while embedding consistent change practices, governance and adoption measures.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful transformation initiatives within a purpose-driven organisation that plays a critical role in supporting the NSW coal industry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work across diverse business areas including Health, Mines Rescue, Regulation & Compliance, and Corporate Support Services.

About you:

Your education, experience and skills will include:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Organisational Development, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Experience with recognised change methodologies (e.g. Prosci, APMG or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience supporting transformation programs, PMO-led initiatives or enterprise-wide change projects.
• Ability to develop and implement stakeholder engagement, communication, learning and adoption strategies that drive successful change outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and leadership coaching skills.
• Experience identifying and managing change impacts, adoption risks, resistance and change fatigue.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver both strategic and operational change activities.
• Experience measuring and reporting on change readiness, adoption and business outcomes through established governance frameworks.
