Goodstart Fernvale is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our 74-place centre, guiding educators and delivering our learning program in partnership with global leaders. You will build strong relationships with children, families and the local community while ensuring safety and quality.

You will shape the centre's strategic direction, manage operations and finances, grow attendance, and maintain a high-performing team committed to reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and working towards relevant degree.
• Experience leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience delivering integrated early childhood services in disadvantaged areas.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.

Location: Fernvale QLD (located on the traditional lands of the Yuggera and Jagera peoples)

Centre: Goodstart Fernvale

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time-38hrs a week

Pay: From $58.38 - depending on qualification and experience

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In This Role, You Will

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

You’ll Need

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services

• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
