Job summary

Goodstart Nelson Bay is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead and grow a 59-place early learning centre on NSW's coast. You will guide educators, manage operations, and partner with families and the community to deliver high-quality programs.

As Centre Director, you’ll lead the learning program, recruit and develop staff, and drive a sustainable, revenue-generating operation while maintaining Strong links to community needs and child safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Experience leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice.
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement.

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Role: 38 hours a week

Pay: $59.79 to $77.75 per hour plus Super

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In This Role, You Will

• The centre is Rated Meeting National Quality Standards with a motivated and focussed team providing play-based programs that are designed for every child to grow and love learning.

• Previous experience in a leadership role is needed.
