Job summary

Goodstart Nelson Bay is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our 59-place centre. You will mentor teachers and educators, drive program delivery, and work with families and the community to deliver outstanding early learning outcomes.

In this role you’ll deliver a bespoke learning program, build a skilled team, and plan the future of the centre to sustain attendance and revenue. Salary is competitive with above-award pay and generous staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Experience leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.

Pay:$57.78 to $77.75 per hour plus Super

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.
