Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Lake Munmorah is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead a Goodstart Plus centre. You will guide the education team, align with our place-based approach, and drive development outcomes for children while managing a thriving, community-focused centre.

You will oversee a strong education team, build relationships with families, and ensure delivery of an integrated early learning service with specialist support resources. This is a full-time leadership role in NSW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Experience leading and managing change within education or community services.
• Experience delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage would be advantageous.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.

Pay: $59.79 - $79.04 per hour (based on qualification and experience)

What is Goodstart Plus?

Goodstart Plus is our enhanced, integrated place-based approach. It has been designed to ensure that every child gets the support they need during the foundational first five years of childhood to help them thrive now and when they start school, no matter where they live or their life circumstances.

Building on Goodstart's high quality, inclusive early learning, Goodstart Plus provides additional support, specialist expertise and stronger connections with families and community services to help children develop the skills, confidence and capabilities they need for their early childhood and their successful transition to school. The model also assists families and carers to access additional supports that make a meaningful difference.

As our Centre Director at this unique Goodstart Plus centre, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers, and Educators and specialists in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In This Role, You Will

• Deliver our bespoke Goodstart Plus approach learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice and early childhood development.
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

You’ll Need

• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
