Goodstart Nelson Bay is seeking an Educator to join our 12 month fixed term contract, full‑time team in Nelson Bay, NSW. You will work 38 hours per week across 5 days, delivering high‑quality early childhood education and care.

You’ll collaborate with Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to craft engaging learning programs, uphold safety and inclusivity, and support children to thrive in their early years.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

• Craft and enhance learning programs for children in collaboration with Senior Educators and Educational Leader.
• Ensure safety and inclusivity so every child thrives and feels valued in their learning experiences.

• Key Educator Approach: Educators build strong, secure attachments by working closely with a small group of children, promoting consistent relationships and supporting individual development. Goodstart Nelson Bay is a 59 -place centre.
• Individualized Curriculum: The centre is Rated Meeting National Quality Standards and follows the Early Years Learning Framework and uses platforms like Storypark to tailor programs to each child's needs, interests, and strengths.
• Experience: To join this passionate and dedicated team – a solid background in early childcare is needed.
