Endeavour Group's Oakridge winery in Melbourne is seeking a friendly Cellar Door Attendant to deliver exceptional guest experiences across wine tastings, reservations and retail sales. A relaxed, team‑oriented environment with strong service standards awaits.

You will lead wine experiences, greet guests, take reservations, handle payments, and maintain cellar door presentation. An RSA and a passion for wine and customer service are essential; hospitality background is preferred and you’ll thrive

Formación

• RSA certification is required.
• Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong wine knowledge is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Cellar Door Attendant - Oakridge

About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional service at the Josef Chromy Cellar Door. As a team we pride ourselves on creating an environment that is relaxed, friendly and supportive with a focus on excellent guest experiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading wine appreciation and tasting
• Hosting detailed wine experiences for small and large groups, including private tastings
• Maintaining professional standards to create a welcoming customer experience
• Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests
• General tidying and cleaning in the cellar door, including re-stock
• Receiving and handling money
• Wine sales and general service
• Engaging with our customers through entertaining and authentic story-telling

Qualifications

• A current RSA
• A positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Strong wine knowledge highly regarded
• Passion and enthusiasm for great customer service and excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work well in a team
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced Cellar Door environment
• Ability to lift cases of wine and stock movements throughout our Cellar Door (up to 15kg)
• A hospitality background with proven customer service skills is preferred
• A strong sales background will be considered a plus
