Job summary

dnata catering & retail Australia is seeking motivated leaders to drive high-performing teams in a fast-paced operational environment. This role focuses on leading production teams, coaching staff, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely workflow across the catering and retail operations.

As part of the Emirates Group, you will use workplace systems and tablets, support stock control, and seek opportunities to improve processes and performance while meeting production schedules and standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a team leader, leading hand, senior or supervisory role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable using computers and workplace systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer service.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting team members across production areas.
• Training and coaching employees on operational procedures and safety standards.
• Monitoring productivity, quality and adherence to production schedules.
• Completing flight documentation and basic administrative tasks.
• Using workplace systems, tablets and operational software.
• Supporting stock control and minimising waste.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and team performance.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality and workplace health and safety requirements.
