Four Seasons Hotels in Sydney is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave. You will secure catering business across market segments, create and prospect new accounts, generate leads and maintain key relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an events sales role in a large operation.
• Ability to prioritise and work through multiple files and tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills with internal and external clients.
• Solid local market knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive Catering Sales by negotiating with clients to achieve maximum revenue and profit while meeting client needs.
• Finalise bookings, maximise revenue potential by upselling in all revenue-producing areas.
• Collaborate with catering planning managers and hotel operations to ensure client satisfaction.
• Foster strong working relationships with sales and marketing teams for smooth planning of conferences/events.
• Coordinate with on-site AV company and other suppliers to meet client needs and hotel requirements.
• Coordinate and negotiate sales efforts between sales and catering to maximise function space utilization.
