Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is seeking an experienced events professional to lead planning for conferences, social and corporate groups. Reporting to the Director of Catering & Conference Services, you will collaborate with Rooms Division, F&B, Security and Finance to ensure exceptional guest experiences and successful execution of events.

You will coordinate with sales, catering and external suppliers, upsell services, and ensure peak revenue through effective space utilization while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in a large group and event planning role in a high-volume hotel.
• Ability to manage multiple files and tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and attention to detail in event planning.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
• Solid local market knowledge and computer systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients during planning stages of conferences, social and corporate events and group accommodation.
• Coordinate with Rooms Division, F&B, Security and Finance to ensure guest satisfaction and successful event execution.
• Greet and assist clients on arrival, monitor satisfaction, and handle issues to resolution.
• Upsell and maximise revenue relating to conferences, banqueting, and F&B services.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to plan events and optimize function space utilization.
