Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited in Tura Beach, NSW invites applications for a part-time & casual Catering Assistant role. You’ll work with the catering team to deliver high-quality meals to residents and visitors, uphold Food Safety Standards, and keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and compliant.

We value compassion, teamwork and good communication. A background in catering or hospitality is beneficial but not essential; Australian working rights required.

About the role

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and their visitors
• Comply with Food Safety Standards
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment and dining areas
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors
• Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring that the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs
• Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Qualifications in catering and hospitality or related work experience are beneficial but not essential. We can help you learn and develop in the role.
