Job summary

RSL LifeCare Condobolin is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our catering team in delivering high-quality meals and dining experiences for residents and visitors. You will work closely with the Head Chef and colleagues to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and attentive service.

The role emphasises compassion, teamwork and strong communication, with opportunities for development within a large social purpose organisation that cares for veterans and seniors.

• Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and their visitors

• Comply with Food Safety Standards

• Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment and dining areas

• Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors

• Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring that the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs

• Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
