Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited is hiring a Casual Catering Assistant at Narrabeen, NSW. You will support the catering team, serve meals, ensure safety standards, and maintain a clean kitchen environment while delivering friendly resident-focused service.

The role emphasises compassion, teamwork, and reliability to help us provide quality care to residents and visitors in a supportive dining setting.

About the role:

As a Catering Assistant at RSL LifeCare, every day you’re empowered to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. Within our supportive work environment your compassion is valued and your professional development is prioritised. You will have the opportunity to:

• Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and their visitors
• Comply with Food Safety Standards
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment and dining areas
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors
• Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring that the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs
• Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience

Australian Working Rights

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
