Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited in Merimbula is seeking a Carer to provide compassionate personal care to residents in our aged care homes. You will work with residents and families to deliver respectful, person-centered support.

In this part-time/casual role, you’ll follow individual care plans, encourage activity and independence, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in individual support or related work experience are beneficial.
• Australian Working Rights required.
• Police Check or NDIS check may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in collaboration with residents and families.
• Deliver quality, timely care aligned with care plans.

• Work collaboratively with residents and their families to provide personal care
• Provide quality, timely and effective care that reflects the unique needs of each resident and in accordance with resident care plans

• Embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual’s unique goals and preferences
• Participate in risk management and continuous quality improvement activities
• Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver positive outcomes for residents

Qualifications in individual support or related work experience are beneficial. Australian Working Rights.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
