Job summary

Arcare is currently seeking team members to support the delivery of high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for residents. Your role will help enhance residents’ comfort, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, serving meals per dietary needs, and maintaining dining areas with a strong emphasis on resident interaction and care.

Qualifications

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Reliable, adaptable, eager to learn.
• Great communication, positive attitude, and teamwork.

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating.
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene standards.
• Engage positively with residents during mealtimes.

Hourly Rate Range $27.91 - $30.70 + Super + Shift Penalties (where applicable)

We are seekingteam members withPrevious experience in food service, hospitality and café environments. Previous experience in administration and customer service, with strong communication skills, is highly desirable.
