Job summary

Arcare on the Gold Coast is seeking a kitchen/meal assistant to support high-quality dining for residents. You’ll help with meal prep, plating, serving according to dietary needs, keep dining areas clean, wash dishes and uphold kitchen hygiene, and engage warmly with residents during meals.

Holders of a Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain one are preferred. You’ll join a supportive team with above award rates and opportunities for development in a leading Australian aged care

Qualifications

Hourly Rate Range $27.91 - $30.70 + Super + Shift Penalties (where applicable)

About the Role

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your contribution will play an important role in enhancing residents’ comfort, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene standards
• Engage positively with residents during mealtimes
