Job summary

Arcare Brisbane is seeking a friendly dining assistant to support the delivery of high-quality meals for residents and to create a welcoming dining experience.

In this role you will assist with meal prep, serve meals with consideration for dietary requirements, maintain dining areas and kitchen hygiene, and engage positively with residents during mealtimes. Variety of shifts available to support work life balance, above award rates, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Positive attitude and good communication.
• Reliable and adaptable team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and plating.
• Serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain dining areas and kitchen hygiene.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness.

Hourly Rate Range $27.91 - $30.70 + Super + Shift Penalties (where applicable)

About the Role

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your contribution will play an important role in enhancing residents' comfort, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene standards
• Engage positively with residents during mealtimes

What We're Looking For

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Handler's Certificate
• Passion Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
