Job summary

Arcare Glenhaven is seeking a compassionate part-time kitchen assistant to support mealtime services for residents. You will help with meal preparation, plating, and serving, ensuring dietary requirements are met and dining areas are clean and welcoming.

Join a supportive team focused on resident comfort, nutrition and wellbeing. Applicants must have Australian Working Rights and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your contribution will play an important role in enhancing residents’ comfort, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene standards
• Engage positively with residents during mealtimes

What We’re Looking For

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Handler’s Certificate
• Passion Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player
