Job summary

Bathurst Regional Council is seeking a customer-focused hospitality professional to join the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) as Casual Visitor Experience Team Member. This role offers flexible weekday hours to fit around other commitments, with shifts across events, functions and daytime activities.

You will welcome guests, help at the bar, support functions and ensure every visitor feels valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service.
• Willingness to obtain NSW RSA if not already held.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional presentation.
• Reliable and available for flexible hours including weekdays, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and school/university breaks.
• Physically able to assist with event setup and pack-down.
• Comfortable handling cash and EFTPOS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly smile and provide great customer service.
• Serve at the bar and assist with functions and events.
• Help ensure every visitor feels comfortable and looked after.
