Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen in Australia is seeking a Shift Leader to guide and motivate a fast-paced team, delivering exceptional guest experiences while upholding food safety and quality standards. You will coach crew, ensure smooth shift operations and contribute to achieving key service and sales targets.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a positive attitude, and availability across mornings, nights and weekends to support busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality, café, restaurant or retail environment.

Your role will see you leading, coaching and motivating the team to enhance the guest experience while upholding the highest food safety and quality standards, ensuring every guest receives the best. Your leadership will set the tone for operational excellence and foster a positive work environment for the crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Shift: Keep the crew motivated, organised and having fun, especially when things get busy.
