Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen in Australia is seeking a Shift Leader to guide and coach the team, delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. You’ll drive operational excellence and foster a positive work environment for the crew.

Successful candidates will have leadership experience in fast-paced settings, a customer service track record, and hold or be willing to obtain Food Safety Supervisor and RS of Alcohol certificates;

• Proven track record of outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course.

Job Description

Your role will see you leading, coaching and motivating the team to enhance the guest experience while upholding the highest food safety and quality standards, ensuring every guest receives the best. Your leadership will set the tone for operational excellence and foster a positive work environment for the crew.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
• A track record of providing outstanding customer service
• Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate
• Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course
