Job summary

Guzman y Gomez in Australia is seeking a Shift Leader to guide and motivate the crew, uphold food safety and quality, and drive guest experience on busy shifts.

You will lead, coach and support team members, ensuring standards are met and KPIs like speed, service and sales targets are achieved, while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Your role will see you leading, coaching and motivating the team to enhance the guest experience while upholding the highest food safety and quality standards, ensuring every guest receives the best. Your leadership will set the tone for operational excellence and foster a positive work environment for the crew.

• Leadership Experience: Previous experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality, café, restaurant or retail environment.
• High Energy: A positive, resilient attitude and the ability to stay calm and upbeat when things get busy.
• People Skills: You enjoy working with people, communicating clearly and helping others succeed.
• Culture Fit: A genuine passion for great food, teamwork and fast-paced fun.
• Availability: Availability to work a mix of mornings, nights and weekends is required.
