Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen in Australia is seeking a Shift Leader to guide and motivate the team, uphold food safety and quality standards, and deliver great guest experiences during busy periods. You will lead, coach and support crew, drive KPIs like speed and service, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced work environment.

Your role will see you leading, coaching and motivating the team to enhance the guest experience while upholding the highest food safety and quality standards, ensuring every guest receives the best. Your leadership will set the tone for operational excellence and foster a positive work environment for the crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Shift: Keep the crew motivated, organised and having fun, especially when things get busy.
• Coach & Support: Help crew members build their skills and confidence while working together to deliver great service.
• Drive Results: Help the team achieve key KPIs, including speed, service and sales targets.
• Keep Standards High: Lead by example and make sure food safety, cleanliness, product quality and GYG standards are always on point.
• Be a Team Player: Jump in wherever you're needed, support the team and help keep the shift running smoothly.

• Leadership Experience: Previous experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality, café, restaurant or retail environment.
