Australia Post Mossman Post Office is hiring a Casual Retail Customer Service Officer. You will assist customers with transactions, promote products, and help with mail lodgements while maintaining accuracy and excellent service.

Training spans 12 weeks with daytime shifts, offering career growth into permanent roles. The role requires friendly, reliable people who can lift up to 16kg and work Monday–Friday during training and after.

Formación

• Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Ability to assist customers with queries and transactions.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform customer sales and service transactions.
• Manage high value transactions accurately (cash, cheques, credit cards, EFTPOS).
• Conduct identity services transactions, including Passport Interviews.
• Promote products through up-selling and cross-selling.
• Assist customers with mail and parcels lodgements and costs.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs.
• Support with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
• Career growth: casual role with opportunities for permanent positions.
• Training: comprehensive 12-week program, 4 hours/day, Mon–Fri.
