Job summary

GenesisCare is seeking an experienced Patient Services Officer with MDT coordination experience to join our Radiation Oncology Centre at Hollywood Hospital in Perth. This casual role supports patient services and MDT coordination, working closely with clinicians and the care team to ensure coordinated, compassionate care through the patient journey.

You will coordinate MDT meetings, manage patient bookings and clinic schedules, process referrals and documentation, and provide day-to-day medical

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating MDT meetings in a healthcare/clinical setting.
• Experience in hospital administration, ideally oncology.
• Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple priorities and meetings.
• Excellent attention to detail with patient information and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication with doctors, nursing teams, allied health professionals, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide administrative support for MDT meetings, including meeting prep and follow-up.
• Liaise with clinicians to ensure patient information is available for MDT discussions.
• Provide high-quality administrative support within the radiation oncology clinic.
• Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients and carers.
• Manage patient bookings, confirmations and clinic schedules.
• Process referrals, correspondence and patient documentation accurately.
• Assist with patient billing and receipting (Medicare, private funds, self funded).
• Maintain accurate patient records and data.
• Collaborate with clinicians and external providers to support coordinated patient care.
• Provide flexible support across the clinic in a busy environment.
