Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Casual Educator in Western Australia (EDGEWATER area). You will work across centres with flexible hours, contributing to the education program and supervising children, ensuring safety and inclusivity, and building strong relationships with families.

The role offers casual shifts, above award wages, and opportunities to travel between local services. A WA Working with Children Check and ACECQA qualification are required, with training and support provided.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification.
• Current WA Working with Children Check.
• Willing to travel between local services.
• Flexible availability between Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with national quality standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
