Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking Casual Educators to join our network of centres across Darwin. You will support the education program, supervise children, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment for families and staff.

The role is flexible, with shifts between early morning and evening, and requires a current NT Working with Children Check and ACECQA‑approved qualifications. Travel between local services is expected, with ongoing induction and training provided.

Qualifications

• Casual Educator role requires ACECQA approved early childhood qualification.
• Current NT Working with Children Check is required.
• Willingness to travel between local services and flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engage and supervise the children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
