Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Casual Educator in Maryborough, Queensland. You’ll work with our centres and children on a casual, flexible basis, with hours Monday to Friday (non-guaranteed).

The role involves supporting learning programs, supervising children and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. You’ll be expected to travel between local services as needed, hold ACECQA approved early childhood qualifications, and have a current QLD Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• ACE CQA approved early childhood qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
