Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Casual Educator in Lara, VIC. You will join a flexible team delivering engaging early childhood programs, supporting children across scheduled shifts.

You’ll contribute to safe, inclusive learning environments, work with families, and adapt to centre needs. Prior ACECQA qualifications and WWCC are required, plus willingness to travel between local services and flexible weekday hours.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification required.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check.
• Willing to travel between local services when needed.
• Flexible availability between Monday–Friday, 6:00am–6:45pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
