Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning invites applications for Casual Educator roles across our Cairns region. You will be joining a friendly team to support children and centres with flexibility in hours and locations, ensuring engaging and safe learning experiences.

We offer above award wages with casual leave loading, access to Fitness Passport, comprehensive induction, and support from a dedicated head office. If you hold an ACECQA approved qualification and a current QLD Working with Children Check,

Qualifications

• ACEQA approved early childhood qualification is required.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check is required.
• Willingness to travel between local services and flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
