Job summary

Goodstart Hobart is seeking a Casual Educator to support our centres and children across Hobart. You'll join a friendly, team-focused environment, delivering safe, engaging learning experiences during casual shifts.

Casual shifts run Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:30pm with above award wages, casual loading and super. A Certificate III in Children's Services or equiv and a valid Working with Children check are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent is required.
• Valid Working with Children check or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
