Job summary

Goodstart in Melbourne is seeking a Casual Educator to support our centres and children across shifts.

As a casual educator you’ll join a flexible, team-oriented environment with quality induction, ongoing training and strong support. You’ll help deliver enriching learning experiences while prioritising safety and inclusivity. Travel between local services and availability Monday to Friday, 6:30 am–6:30 pm are required.

Qualifications

• ACEQA approved early childhood qualification required.
• Current VIC Working with Children Check required.
• Willingness to travel between local services.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
