Job summary

Inner West Council (IWC) invites applications for a customer-focused role at the Aquatic centres. You will assist a diverse range of users, help them access programs and activities, respond to enquiries, resolve issues, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone visiting the centres.

The role offers flexible work arrangement options and a remunerative package with hourly pay plus casual loading and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Health, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism or equivalent industry.
• Experience in a fast-paced high volume customer service environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

About the role

In this customer-focused role, you will provide exceptional service to a diverse range of aquatic centre users, helping them access programs, services and activities that support active and healthy lifestyles. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will build positive relationships with customers, respond to enquiries, resolve issues professionally, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone who visits the Inner West Council Aquatic centres.

Remuneration

$32.25 per hour + 25% casual loading + 12% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

• Previous experience in Health, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism or equivalent industry
• Experience in a fast-paced high volume customer service environment
• A demonstrated high level of interpersonal and customer service skills
• Flexible outlook and ability to resolve problems
• Organisational and administrative skills
