Job summary

Inner West Council is seeking a Casual Creche Assistant to provide a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn, play, and thrive within the council's Aquatic Centres. You will help ensure safety, support development, and assist with programming activities and childcare administration.

Applicants should have experience in centre-based care of children and a current First Aid Certificate, with strong communication skills for children, parents and staff.

About the role

As a Casual Creche Assistant, you will assist with providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive within the Inner West Council's Aquatic Centres. This is a fantastic casual opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys being part of a supportive team that makes a real difference in the community. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all children for the length of time they attend, the respect and care for each child that attends the childcare centre, assisting in the programming of activities for the development and growth of children and assisting with the administration of the childcare.
